Biography:

Knuckles the Echidna is a prominent character in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, created by Sega. He is a red echidna known for his incredible strength and powerful fists, which he often uses to punch and burrow through obstacles.

Initially introduced as an antagonist, Knuckles debuted in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (1994). He was tricked by Doctor Robotnik (later known as Doctor Eggman) into believing Sonic was a threat to the Master Emerald, which Knuckles guards diligently on Angel Island.

Over time, Knuckles learned the truth about Robotnik's deception and joined forces with Sonic and Tails, becoming a valuable ally. His dedication to protecting the Master Emerald remains a defining characteristic.
